Diverted Delta Passengers Overnight in Goose Bay Following Mechanical Issue - VOCM

A flight carrying nearly 300 passengers on its way to Detroit from Amsterdam had to make an unexpected stop in Goose Bay Sunday afternoon.

Delta flight 135 experienced a mechanical issue and had to divert to 5 Wing out of an abundance of caution.

Delta Air Lines says crew duty times were impacted due to weather and runway conditions that halted operations at the Goose Bay airport.

Additional Delta aircraft were brought in to bring passengers to their final destination on Monday.
