Health Officials have confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in Newfoundland in Labrador.
The case is in the Eastern Health Region and contact tracing is underway by public health.
The total number of cases in the province is now 257.

There are 239 cases in Eastern Health, eight cases in Central Health, six cases in Labrador Grenfell-Health and four cases in Western Health.
There are six people in hosptial with COVID-19, three are in intensive care.
As of today, 189 people have recovered and 5,871 people have been tested.
Health official are reminding the public to continue to follow public health orders issued by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald.
