COVID-19 warning issued for four flights at YVR - News 1130

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — Passengers on four flights connected to Vancouver International Airport are being warned of potential exposure to COVID-19.

The BC Centre for Disease Control added the flights to their list Saturday morning.

The flight from Vancouver to Seattle and the one from Dallas to Vancouver do not list ‘affected  seats.’

“For flights with ‘affected seats’ not specified, we recommend that flight passengers self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days following the flight,” says the BCCDC website.

Rows 26 – 32 were affected on the Air Canada flight from London to Vancouver.

On the Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Calgary rows 25 – 31 were affected.

“The information available here is updated as we become aware of flights with an origin or destination in British Columbia with a case of COVID-19 on board. If you have travelled to/from other parts of Canada, and are concerned about potential in-flight exposure, please check for similar information posted on other provincial public health web sites,” according to the BCCDC.
