The federal government’s carbon rebate will hit Canadian bank accounts today.
The individual amount for someone in this province is $149, with additional funds for common-law partners and children.
Those who qualify for the rural supplement will see an extra 20 per cent on top of the rebate.

The next payment will be issued in October.
